Data Deletion

The short version

  • Email hello@postgalo.pro from your account email to delete everything.
  • Or disconnect Instagram in the app to delete your Instagram data.
  • We delete your data within 30 days.

You can delete your data from Postgalo at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1: Email us to delete everything

  1. Write to hello@postgalo.pro from the email address you use for your Postgalo account. This is how we know the request comes from you.
  2. Use the subject "Delete my data". If you connected Instagram, include your Instagram username.
  3. We reply to confirm we received your request.
  4. We delete your account and all your data within 30 days, and email you when it's done.

If you can't write from your account email, tell us in your message. We may ask a few questions to confirm the account is yours.

Option 2: Disconnect Instagram in the app

  1. Sign in to Postgalo.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Disconnect Instagram and confirm.

This removes Postgalo's access to your Instagram account right away. We delete your Instagram access token immediately, and the data we received from Instagram within 30 days. Your Postgalo account stays open. To delete it too, use Option 1.

You can also remove Postgalo from the apps and websites connected to your Instagram account, in your Instagram settings. This stops our access. To make sure we also delete the data we already have, use Option 1 or Option 2.

What gets deleted

When you email us (Option 1)

  • Your Postgalo account: name, email address and business details.
  • Data from Instagram: account information, posts, insights and metrics.
  • Your Instagram access token.
  • Media you uploaded: photos, videos and scripts.
  • Post ideas, drafts and posts created in Postgalo.

When you disconnect Instagram (Option 2)

  • Your Instagram access token, right away.
  • Data from Instagram: account information, posts, insights and metrics, within 30 days.

What we may keep

  • Billing records, such as invoices, for as long as the law requires.

Posts that are already published on Instagram stay on your Instagram account. Deleting your Postgalo data doesn't remove them. You can delete them in Instagram.

How long it takes

We delete your data within 30 days of your request or of you disconnecting Instagram.
